Diamondback double action revolver manufactured by Colt in 1971. Left side of barrel is marked "DIAMOND BACK/ .22 LONG RIFLE" with Colt's single line address on the right. Left side of frame bears the Rampant Colt logo. Features include a 4" vent rib barrel, ramp front sight, adjustable rear sight, and serrated hammer. Complete with a matching factory box, bearing a handwritten serial number on the bottom containing a "Handling the Handgun" pamphlet and a matching factory paper test target. CONDITION: Excellent overall, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory blue finish and showing a few superficial handling marks. Cylinder bears a light dragline. Excellent bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Grips show a few small handling marks, but are otherwise fine. Box is very good, showing a few light handling and storage marks and bearing some wear to the end label. MLW
