Colt Single Action Army revolver with wood display case. Third generation gun, made 1983. Left side of the barrel is marked "COLT SINGLE ACTION Army 45 ACP". Company address on the top of the barrel. Patent dates on the left side of the frame, followed by a rampant Colt pony. "VP" proof on the left top of the trigger guard. Round steel barrel with blade front sight and u-notch frame rear. Factory nickel finish on the metal components. Factory white ivory style grips with Colt medallions. Includes factory wood display case with extra .45 Colt cylinder and book on the history of the Colt Armory. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finish with a few handling marks. Grips are excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. unfired from the factory. Tight hammer and cylinder. No drag lines on the cylinders. Mechanically excellent. Case has some light exterior handling marks. Book is excellent. JWA
