Colt Custom Shop Sheriff's Model single action revolver, product number P1934MN, serial number SA40786. 3" round barrel chambered in .44 Special with earlier style, small front blade sight and frame notch rear. 1 piece factory ivory grips with gold Rampant Colt medallions on either panel. Backstrap is gold inlayed with reproduction Colonel Samuel Colt signature. Lot is complete with the Colt Custom Shop "wood grain" factory box with additional .44-40 WCF cylinder. According to the label on the outside of the box, this revolver is number 4 out of 10 made in this exact configuration. CONDITION: Excellent plus, with virtually all of the original finishes remaining. No visible dragline on either cylinder. 1 piece ivory grips are in matching condition with no major signs of distress. Bore is lightly frosted with factory grease and dust from storage but is overall in excellent condition with sharp rifling. Box is excellent and complete with wear at high edges. TON
