Scarce nickel finished Colt Official Police .22 LR double action revolver manufactured in 1957. Features include a 6" round barrel marked on left "OFFICIAL POLICE/22 LONG RIFLE CTG." and on right with address, ramped front sight, square notch rear sight, fluted 6-shot cylinder swing out cylinder, and checkered walnut grips with Colt medallions. CONDITION: Very good retaining nearly all of its factory applied nickel finish with some clouding on straps, light surface scratching, a turn line, and some other handling marks. Grips good as worn with some minor impressions. Bright bore with crisp rifling. Fine mechanics. Numbers matching on frame and crane. BAS
