Circa 1967. A sporting gun with 30" blue steel barrels, 2 - 3/4" chambers, machined matte ventilated tapered rib with small white mid bead and round white front bead. Barrels are choked Full in the over and Modified in the under. The blued steel short tang receiver is engraved with scrolls and "Lightning" along with "BROWNING" and portrait on underside. Action has a gold washed single inertia trigger, non-auto safety with scored safety slide which also operates as a barrel selector, "S" ahead of safety slide, engraved top lever with checkering on left side thumb piece. Brownish-red pistol grip walnut stock with 2 checkered panels, Browning ventilated rubber recoil pad, beavertail forend with Browning release lever mechanism. The shotgun lives in a Browning travel case. CONDITION: Very good. Barrels retain nearly all of their original blue and bores are bright. Action is tight, ejectors are in time and trigger is crisp. Stock with some handling marks from use. Forend also with some light handling marks. Case is good with some scuffs, some interior soiling and is missing handle. CP
