German pre-WWII (Weimar Republic to early Third Reich) "Shooting King" (Schuetzen Koenig) award necklace. Necklace contains 10 silver medals (38 mm or 1.5 inches) with dates from 1927 to 1938, for winning various shooting matches. Eight medals have a silver content of .835 and two have a silver content of .800. The center hanging medal is also silver, but no content number was observed. That medal is adorned with an enamel swastika, but is otherwise unmarked. Medals are attached to a 15" gilt finish brass chain. Entire necklace has a nice uniform patina.
