Lot consists of: (A) Manhattan Fire Arms Co. third series Navy percussion revolver manufactured circa 1861 to 1864 in .36 caliber. It features a blued 6 - 1/2" octagon barrel with 1-line "NEWARK N.J." barrel address, German silver half moon front sight, 5-shot percussion cylinder with panel scenes and 1859 patent date, silver plated brass grip straps and trigger guard, and smooth walnut grips. CONDITION: Very good. Traces of thinned blued finish are retained on barrel with balance a pleasing brown patina, and more significant portions of finish retained in protected areas. Majority of silver finish retained on straps with some edge wear. Grips good with some added finish, scattered marks, and a few small chips. Butt of grips and straps shows numerous dings. Good bore with strong rifling and some spots of colder corrosion. Indexes correctly. Numbers matching on frame, barrel, trigger guard, straps, cylinder, cylinder arbor, and wedge. (B) Nickel finished Colt New Line .22 single action revolver manufactured in 1876. Features include a 2-1/4" flat side "COLT NEW 22" etched panel barrel with British proofs, half moon front sight, fluted 7-shot cylinder with British proofs, frame marked with additional British proofs and "NOT ENGLISH MAKE" stamp, and smooth rosewood birdshead grips. CONDITION: Very fine retaining majority of factory applied nickel with age spots, freckling, a flake on frame, and other signs of use. Grips very good with some minor marks. Good bore with strong rifling and some light pitting. Indexes correctly. Numbers matching on frame, barrel, cylinder, and inside of grips. BAS
