Springfield Model 1903 bolt action built at the Springfield Armory in 1918. "SA" marked barrel dated "7-20" with banded blade front sight and rear flip sight graduated to 2800 yards. Military finish action with blued unmarked straight handle bolt. Later unmarked walnut "scant" style replacement stock with two bolts. Walnut high hump forearm. Correct blued milled trigger guard, smooth buttplate and stock hardware. CONDITION: 60% fading arsenal finish with cosmoline in all the corners. Replacement scant stock with repaired cracks in forearm and wrist. Wood has oil soaked surface with heavy usage look. Good bore with TE of 2 and ME of 2 with good mechanics. DLM
