Slide action rifle made by the Standard Arms Company from 1909 to 1911. This is the Model "M" slide action rifle the most successful of this companies endeavors. Gun has blued round rifled barrel with blade banded front sight with no rear sight provision and a Lyman receiver peep. Blued action and magazine tube with brass embellished slide handle. Fine figured walnut stock with brass embellished buttplate. Comes with 1960s vintage Western "Super X Silvertip" box of 20 factory loaded ammunition and iron key used to take apart the gun. CONDITION: 90% original blue with brass showing a golden patina. 90% varnish with some handling dings and marks. Good bore and mechanics. Ammunition in good condition. DLM
