Marlin Model 1893 Takedown lever action rifle made by the Marlin Firearms Company in circa 1908. Blued "Special Smokeless Steel" half round half octagon barrel with German silver large sheared blade front sight with buckhorn adjustable rear notch sight. Barrel marked with Marlin patents and Address and caliber "38-55". Casehardened takedown receiver with blued full magazine with plain trigger with two factory drilled holes and marked "Marlin Safety". Figured checkered walnut pistol grip stock with steel crescent buttplate and figured checkered walnut forearm with caser hardened nosecap. CONDITION: 90% original blue with some light edge wear. Receiver has 10% case with some discoloration and phenomenal screws. Wood has been cleaned with added coat of finish and some small handling marks. Good bore with good mechanics. DLM
