Winchester Model 1886 lever action rifle made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1899. Blued round Winchester barrel with pedestal bead front sight and buckhorn adjustable rear sight. Blued action with plain trigger and slid frame with blued full magazine. Walnut plain stock with shotgun style buttplate and plain walnut forearm with blued nosepiece. Comes with factory letter. CONDITION: 80% fading barrel blue with action worn to a silvery patina. Wood has traces of original varnish with some usage scratches and dings. Forearm has been sanded and cleaned. Buttplate is modern reproduction and screw behind hammer is a replacement. Good bore and mechanics. DLM
