Winchester Model 1894 lever action rifle made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1921. Blued "Nickel Steel" round rifled barrel with pedestal bead front sight and Lyman flip down 2 leaf rear sight with Lyman Tang sight. Madis states 1 in 3 rifles was fitted with round barrel and 1 in 725 had shorter than standard magazine. Gun has blued action with plain trigger and solid frame. Walnut plain wood stock with crescent steel buttplate and plain walnut forearm. CONDITION: 90% blue with some light freckling. Action has faded to a silvery brown. Wood has been cleaned long ago with some usage dings and marks. Stock has added compass. Tang sight appears to be a reproduction. Good bore and mechanics. DLM
