DST. Sign is Maker Marked Stout Sign Co., St. Louis, Missouri. A very nice example of this rare and seldom seen Circa 1950's Tin Sign from Shat-R-Proof Automotive Glass. Side one is in excellent condition, showing excellent color & gloss throughout the field with some minor paint scuffs in the inner field as well as some paint scratching at the top right and middle left edges. The corners are clean and the sign shows all four of its original grommets. Side two is also in excellent condition, showing great color & gloss throughout the field with some light staining in the lighter colors as well as some minor areas of paint and surface scratch, mostly in the outer field. The edges are clean and overall the sign displays excellent. A great piece of early Automotive Accessory Advertising.
