Circa 1935. Blued steel 28" barrels with 2 - 3/4" chambers and ejectors. Rib is machined matted, concave, tapered and with small round steel mid bead and a steel round front bead sight. Right barrel reads "MODEL 21 - WINCHESTER - 12 GAUGE", "TRADE MARK". Left barrel reads "MADE IN U.S.A. WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO.", NEW HAVEN CONN. - PATENTS PENDING -". Bottom of barrels read "WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL", "FULL",(VP), IMP.-CYL,(VP)". Barrel flats with serial number "5163". The blacked boxlock receiver is stamped "TRAP" on bottom. Serial number "5163" is also stamped under top lever. Gun is auto safe. Action with serrated thumb safe and the word "SAFE" is in gold. The blacked double triggers are protected by a once blacked trigger guard which extends to its bottom tang. Top lever thumb is checkered on right. The gun's stock has two checkered panels and a slender checkered pistol grip. Buttstock is finished with a brown ventilated Whiteline rubber pad. The matched checkered splinter forend with roller release has blacked iron metal. Gun lives in a black case with velour maroon-colored interior. CONDITION: Very Good. Barrels retain mostly all of their blue with some handling marks. Action is mechanically sound. Trigger is crisp and ejectors are timed well. Stock good with some handling marks and forend is good with some light handling marks. Case is also good. Nice gun! CP
