Manufactured circa 1864 to 1886. Standard .22 caliber nickel finished 3-1/2" half octagon tip up barrel, rare nickel plated iron frame, fire blue small parts including hammer and trigger, and smooth rosewood grips. The butt is lightly engraved with what appears to be a name and the date "Jan 19/1888". CONDITION: Excellent. Vast majority of factory applied nickel finish is retained with some scattered marks. Trigger and hammer retain significant portions of their fire blue with expected wear. Grips very good with some light impressions. Left grip appears to have been cleaned. Bright bore with strong rifling. Fine mechanics. BAS
