Framed and matted typewritten letter signed by Emmett Dalton. Letter measures 7 - 1/4" x 8". Overall measurement: 33 - 1/2" x 17 - 1/4". Collage consists of the letter, a brass plaque entitled "The Day The Dalton's Rode Into Town", and two images of the Daltons. The letter talks about Chuck Martin, the Western Pulp Fiction writer; Dalton "derides gun notching"; and mentions the 1892 Coffeyville Bank Robbery which Martin wrote about. The heading of the letter is Hollywood California, February 26, 1935. Letter is hand signed by Emmett Dalton. Emmitt Dalton was the only brother to survive the bank robbery in Coffeyville, Kansas. After serving 15 years, he was pardoned. He married and had several careers ending up as a Hollywood producer. CONDITION: Very good as framed. CLG
