Lot consists of (A) Excellent pair of World War II Australian made USMC boondockers. The boots are a natural light tan color, and are constructed with chrome tanned, flesh side out, natural cowhide. The soles are reclaimed rubber infused with cording and this pair features a steel heel. The laces are held by 9 brass eyelets. The boots are marked on the interior ankle "AR.4775 / V801 / 1945" and are marked as a size "9A". They are also marked on the sole "9A" with a broad arrow and "E". The leather remains supple and the boots exhibit almost no wear. There are a few scattered blemishes, but these boots will be hard to top. CONDITION: Excellent. (B) World War II M1939 American Service Shoe low quarter boots. The boots are a fine Army russet shade and are constructed of leather uppers and soles with rubber heels and taps. The laces are held by 9 brass eyelets. The boots are marked on the sole and heel "Light Tread". The leather remains supple and the boots exhibit light wear. There are a few scattered blemishes but the boots are well preserved. CONDITION: Very good. (C) World War II cold weather rubber overshoes. The boots are constructed of an upper consisting of a layer of rubber between 2 layers of fabric with a tongue reaching to the boot top which helps protect from water up to the top of the boot and a rubber sole that is molded onto the upper. Rather than laces, the boots are closed with metal ladder latches. The boots are stamped on the interior ankle and dated "1942". The rubber soles are marked "Ball-Brand / Victory". The boots remain supple and exhibit little wear. CONDITION: Excellent. (D) 3 pairs of World War II canvas leggings. One pair is marked with Boston Depot stamps, another is stamped with a USN contract and is dated "2/16/43" and the last pair is stamped and dated by the Marine Corps and is dated "1940--1941". The leggings exhibit scattered blemishes. CONDITION: Good-very good. JLD
