World War II uniform and ephemera grouping attributed to Lloyd V. Maloney, who was a member of H&S Companies, 23rd Marines, 4th Marine Division, Fleet Marine Force. The lot includes Maloney's green service uniform which consists of an overcoat, tunic, trousers, and khaki shirt, and wool shirt. The overcoat and tunic are both stamped to several marines and the tunic is dated "SEPT. 27, 1943". The trousers, along with other uniform pieces are are named to "Eugene V. Maloney". There is also a pair of salty P41 trousers. All of these items came with Maloney's duffle bag that is stamped "L.V. Maloney" on the bottom. Also included is a riker mount that contains Maloney's medals, EGAs, and rank insignia. The Good Conduct Medal is engraved on the reverse "Lloyd V. Maloney 1945". The group also includes several books, manuals, belts, and toiletries, some of which are named to Maloney. Most uniform pieces exhibits slight mothing and stains. The ephemera exhibits blemishes that are typical of old paper. CONDITION: Fair-very good. JLD
