Lot consists of: (A) World War II theatre made USMC reversible camouflage pullover shirt that was constructed out of a World War II USMC half shelter. The V-neck type shirt does not have any buttons and is pieced together with olive drab thread. There is a rip on the front of the shirt and a few loose threads at the bottom of the V-neck collar. Otherwise, the shirt is very clean and does not exhibit any major blemishes or stains. CONDITION: Overall very good. (B) USMC reversible camouflage P44 jacket. This camouflage pattern jacket was issued to Marines at the end of World War II and during the Korean war. The P44 jacket is made of camouflage cotton herringbone twill material and features 2 side entry pockets with 1 snap on each pocket which are both hard to snap closed. The jacket retains all of its original metal buttons that are marked "U.S. Marine Corps". The buttons have lost some of their black paint, and the color of the fabric has faded. There are several names and ID markings stamped or written in the jacket, the most prevalent being "E.D. Miller" which is stamped on the left chest and "Smith / Gene / R" which is written inside the jacket on the "sand" camouflaged side. There are also several numbers written in the jacket including "0915" and "B-15" in the collar as well as "5091" inside the lower edge on the sand camouflaged side. The jacket is stamped size "38" inside the collar. CONDITION: Overall good. JLD
