Lot consists of (A) Vietnam War reversible Mitchell camouflage jungle uniform. These uniforms were issued and tested on Okinawa and were also theatre made out of half shelters in Vietnam. They were also used by ARVN forces. The jacket in this set is marked as a size "34" which is written in ink inside the collar. There is a plastic covered ARVN 5th Infantry Division patch sewn on leather and buttoned to the left pocket. Both the jacket and trousers exhibit various lines of ghost stitching, which could possibly mean this example was constructed from pieces of a shelter halves. The colors remain vibrant, and there are very little stains. CONDITION Excellent. (B) Vietnam War reversible Mitchell camouflage jungle jacket. Unlike the first jacket, this one is opened and closed by a functioning Talon zipper. This example is theatre made, featuring 2 large lower front pockets and 1 small pocket on the left chest. The colors have faded, and there are slight stains throughout. CONDITION: Good. (C) Vietnam War rear seam swivel bale helmet with liner and Mitchell camouflage cover. The helmet retains most of its original paint and the Mitchell cover remains vibrant. The liner is complete with all of its sturdy hardware. CONDITION: Excellent. (D) Vietnam War Mitchell camouflage boonie hat. The hat has a washed out tag that appears to read "6". The hat appears to be constructed of a thicker material than the uniforms. The colors exhibit fading and there are scattered blemishes. CONDITION: Good. JLD
