The twin over/under barrels show deep rifling. Silver front blade sight and notched iron rear sight. Top flat, towards breech, stamped "J. HARDER / LOCK HAVEN PA". Dual wooden ramrods on sides, both wooden and retains by iron ferrules. Twin left and right percussion back-action locks with stamp-engraved scrolls on plates and hammers. Features double set-triggers. Plain walnut buttstock with unengraved brass patchbox, buttplate and trigger guard. Left side inlaid with a German silver buck above the cheekpiece. CONDITION: Very good, overall. Barrels retain much of original plum brown finish, some minor corrosion around bolster of top barrel. Locks retain an even light grey patina and both are crisp and function well. Stock is very good with a few minor storage marks. Brass retains a pleasing mustard patina. A very nice signed Pennsylvania double rifle in very good condition. DMG
