A very attractive World War II "dummy" trainer 3" naval artillery shell with solid projectile head, brass neck, turned oak body, and steel base. Body is painted in large red letters with the Winchester trademark logo. CONDITION: Overall very good. A few spots of corrosion on steel components with balance a gray/silver patina. Brass exhibits a mellow patina. Wood has a few impressions with a few abrasions on the Winchester logo. It would make a fine display piece for the Winchester or cartridge collector! BAS
