Probably French or Belgian. Barrel and sideplate with recent "US" stamps. Cock is missing top jaw and is a replacement. Iron furniture and plain walnut stock. CONDITION: All iron components have a dark grey patina. Lock is in its original flintlock configuration. Stock shows scattered large cracks, losses to wood and marks from use. DMG
