One of approximately 10,000 cased sets produced and sold to commemorate the 1973 150th anniversary of the Texas Rangers. Included is an attractive blued Smith & Wesson model 19-3 .357 Magnum double action revolver. Features include a pinned 4" barrel with matte rib, red insert ramped front sight, adjustable square notch rear sight, 6-shot fluted cylinder, factory narrowed trigger guard, smooth case hardened trigger, Texas Ranger Commemorative Commission monogramed frame, and smooth rosewood grips with ranger star medallions. Pistol is accompanied by a Bowie knife with commemorative medallion set in handle and serial number matched with the gun. Both are housed in a fitted wooden case with Texas Ranger Commemorative Commission logo on lid. Also included are the instructions and a S&W marked leather sheath for the knife. CONDITION: Excellent. Revolver retains nearly all of its factory applied blue with a light drag line. Grips excellent. Bright bore with strong rifling. Case very good with scattered impressions. BAS
