3rd model rifle manufactured circa 1886. Blued round barrel shortened to 22" and chambered in .40-60 with 2-line Winchester address and full length magazine tube. Blade front sight and ladder rear. Plain walnut forend and stock with steel forend cap and crescent rifle butt plate containing tool compartment. CONDITION: Very good. Traces of the factory applied blued finish are retained with majority having turned to a gray/brown patina. Stocks are undersized, having been refinished to a fine glossy finish. Good shootable bore. Action cycles appropriately. BAS
