1891 vintage blackpowder Single Action Army. 4 - 3/4" barrel with roll die "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER". Chambered in desirable .44-40 caliber. 1 piece walnut grips. High polish blue with case hardened frame and hammer. CONDITION: Excellent overall, partially refinished with approximately 60-70% high polished blue on barrel. 80%+ blue on cylinder. Approximately 40-45% blue on backstrap. 60-75% blue on trigger guard and forestrap. Mottled case color on frame and hammer. Grips are excellent showing modest wear. Strong bore with moderate abrasion. Action is tight and crisp. Overall an attractive black powder single action in a desirable configuration. MKS
