Traditional configuration of the Hi-Power with blade front sight, U notch rear sight, ring hammer, internal extractor, thumbprint slide. 2 piece bakelite stocks with checkered panels. Magazine disconnect has been removed. Matching full or partial numbers on barrel and frame. Visible Nazi straight wing proofs on slide and frame, accompanied by WA140 waffenamts, and a single straight wing proof on barrel. Soft proof on right side of trigger guard that looks like an "R", and softened proofs on the butt. Post-War magazine is unmarked and has solid baseplate with parkerized body. CONDITION: Overall good. Slide retains the majority of the bluing with silvering to high edges and some handling marks throughout, including some silver. One spot of oxidation above the thumbprint. Frame is in commensurate condition with feathering visible over trigger guard, and some handling marks and silvering at reciprocating areas. Straps have normal brown spotting from handling. Grips are very good, right scale with a crack at the screw, left with some abrasion near top of checkered areas. Mechanically fine, bore is very good with strong rifling and some darkness at groove edges. EMW
