Mauser S/42 Code K Date P.08 Luger semi automatic pistol. Made 1934. Large "K" marked on the chamber. Toggle is marked "S/42", with the S being in gothic script. "S" (non gothic script) marked above the pre war proofs on the right side of the frame. This "S" can be found on the front of the trigger guard as well. No import mark found. Matching serials on the visible numbered parts minus the toggle pin. Left grip panel is matching, right panel is not. Standard blade front sight with v-notch rear. Gun has been completely refinished, with the straw parts being blued as well. Checkered wood grips. Includes a non matching aluminum bottom magazine with a blued body. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its re-applied finish with general wear. Some cleaned pitting visible around the magazine release. Grips have light wear. Left side of the grip has a chip below the safety. Bore is frosted, but retains good overall rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has light wear. JWA
