Circa 1981 Colt New Frontier single action .44 Special revolver. Deeply blued 5 - 1/2" round barrel with 1-line address on top and "COLT NEW FRONTIER S.A.A. .44 SPECIAL". Ramped front sight and adjustable square notch rear sight. Blued 6-shot fluted cylinder. Case hardened flat top frame stamped on left with rampant Colt and patent dates. Grips are attractive factory installed 2-piece ivory with gold Colt medallions. Housed in numbers matching maroon box with factory paperwork and hand tag. CONDITION: Excellent with a light drag line not having broken through bluing completely and a few handling marks. Very fine bore and mechanics. Matching full or partial numbers observed on frame, cylinder., grip straps, and on inside of grips. Box shows edge wear with label flap unattached. BAS
