DSP. Sign is Maker Marked Ingram Richardson & Dated 1950. A nice example of this iconic sign from Gulf Gasoline. Side one shows excellent color & gloss throughout the field but does show approximately ten smaller sized touch ups throughout the inner and outer field, as well as some minimal surface scratching. The color match is very well done and side one displays excellent. Side two also shows very good color & gloss throughout the field but does show a significant amount of chipping scattered throughout the inner and outer field. Although side two shows chipping, it displays well and has an excellent patina type look to it. Sign is mounted in the original metal ring which shows heavy rust and patina and displays the sign well. A nice piece of Gulf Service Station advertising.
