1891 vintage Winchester Model 1887 lever action shotgun, serial number 29783. 20 - 1/4" round barrel chambered in 10 gauge with brass bead front sight. 2 piece plain walnut stock and forearm complete with checkered steel shotgun buttplate. CONDITION: Good, with barrel turned a dark gray patina with scattered handling marks and age related pitting throughout. Front half of barrel and left side of magazine tube have been polished. Frame is overall a dull gray with faint traces of original case colors remaining. Stock and forearm are very good and strong with a protective layer of finish added and scattered handling marks throughout. Mechanically fine. Bore is bright and lightly frosted. TON
