1916 vintage Winchester Model 1895 lever action saddle ring carbine, serial number 189895B. 22" round barrel chambered in .30-06 Springfield with military ladder type rear sight and ramped blade front. 2 piece plain walnut stock and finger groove forearm with top cover complete with storage compartment (compartment is empty). CONDITION: Barrel is excellent with a vast majority of the original bluing remaining with areas of wear especially at muzzle. Receiver is mostly a brown patina with high edge wear. Stock and forearm are excellent with age related handling marks throughout. Mechanically fine. Bore is clean with age related frosting throughout and strong rifling. TON
