Manufactured 1918. Half moon front sight, U notch flat top rear sight. Left side of slide with 2 line 2 block patent and address information with intercepting pony. Slide numbered to a different frame underneath firing pin retaining plate. Springfield barrel with "S P" on left lug and "PX-1" on lower left side of chamber. Top of frame with "H" and "G" near disconnector hole. Left side of dust cover with "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" roll mark and "AA" rebuild stamp for Augusta Arsenal. Faint "(Eagle Head) / SI2" above magazine release. Right side of frame with serial number. Small parts comprise checkered spurred hammer, thick tab safety, checkered slide release with milled relief cut, short 1911 grip safety, smooth flat mainspring housing, long smooth trigger, and long smooth trigger. Grips are fibre, left marked "N LOC R" and right a faux scale of Keyes. Full blue magazine. CONDITION: Very good as rebuilt by Augusta with a thick layer of parkerization obscuring and softening many legends. Some normal handling marks. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is very good. EMW
