1888 Vintage Winchester Model 1887 lever action shotgun, serial number 9720. Blue with case hardened frame, loading lever, and hammer. 30" barrel, 12 gauge, choked improved cylinder. Plain, straight grain walnut pistol grip stock and forearm. 13" length of pull to original checkered steel buttplate. CONDITION: Fine overall. Barrel has turned a pleasing blue/brown patina. Traces of original case color on frame & lever. Wood is sound showing moderate wear. Action operates smoothly and locks up tight. Bore is bright with light frosting. MKS
