1907 vintage Winchester Model 1892 Trapper lever action saddle ring carbine, serial number 409924. 14" round barrel chambered in .44 Winchester Centerfire with carbine ladder rear sight, full-length magazine tube, and blade front. 2-piece plain walnut stock and forearm complete with carbine style buttplate. Comes with ATF exemption letter classifying this carbine as a Curio & Relic firearm not subject to the National Firearms Act because of its scarcity and age, as well as its considerable interest among collectors. CONDITION: Good, with virtually all of the original bluing turned to a speckled grey patina. Stock and forearm are very good, retaining a majority of their original finishes with handling marks throughout. Action works correctly when cycled by hand. Bore is frosted with visible rifling and a slight bulge about 2" from muzzle. TON
