Lot consists of (A) Colt New Service manufactured in 1910. Barrel is marked "NEW SERVICE 45 COLT" on the left with Colt's 2-line address across the top. Left side of frame bears the stylized Rampant Colt within a "C" motif and "VP" proof. Features include a high gloss blue finish, 7 - 1/2" barrel, clipped point front sight, frame notched rear sight, and 2-piece Colt hard rubber grips. CONDITION: Metal components retain large amounts of their original factory blue finish, showing areas of wear and thinning, with areas of scattered handling marks overall. Bright bore, retaining good rifling throughout. Grips show some impressions and nicks, with the left panel bearing a small chip and some cracking around the screw on the interior. (B) Colt Police Positive manufactured in 1929. Left side of barrel is stamped "POLICE/POSITIVE" followed by "38 SPECIAL". Left side of frame bears the Rampant Colt logo and "VP" proof. Features include a blue finish, 6" barrel, half-moon front sight, frame notched rear sight, and 2-piece Colt brown hard rubber grips. CONDITION: Excellent overall, with metal components retaining the vast majority of their factory blue finish, showing a few small spots of wear from handling and storage. Cylinder bears a light dragline. Mirror bore, with well-defined rifling throughout. Grips show few small nicks overall. An attractive pair of Colt double action revolvers. MLW
