1912 vintage Winchester Model 1894 Trapper lever action saddle ring carbine, serial number 602691. 15" round barrel chambered in .30 Winchester Centerfire (.30-30 Winchester) with carbine ladder rear sight, full-length magazine tube, and carbine front. Two-piece plain walnut stock and forearm complete with carbine buttplate. Comes with ATF exemption letter classifying this carbine as a Curio & Relic firearm not subject to the National Firearms Act because of its scarcity and age as well as its considerable interest among collectors. CONDITION: Very good, with nearly all of the original finishes turned to a grey-brown patina with traces of bright original bluing in protected areas. Stock and forearm are very good with repaired chip at buttplate tang and repaired crack running full length of forearm on underside. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand. Bore is overall bright with sharp rifling and modest abrasion. TON
