Half moon front sight, U notch flat top rear sight. Left side of slide with 2 line 2 block patent information with intercepting pony, right side with "MODEL OF 1911. U.S.ARMY" with non-serif font. "H" stamped at the top of firing pin retaining plate channel. Barrel with "COLT 45 AUTO" on lower left side of chamber, "P" on left lug, "F" in front of lug. Frame with appropriate proofs including a largely washed out eagle, "AA" stamp for Augusta Arsenal. Heart shaped lightening cuts under grips. Right side with "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" and serial number. Narrow checkered hammer, checkered slide release, thin tab safety with relief mill cut, long smooth trigger, checkered magazine release. Long 1911A1 grip safety, smooth flat mainspring housing. Full blue magazine with "S" on lip. Keyes fibre grips. CONDITION: Very good as arsenal refinished and rebuilt. Retains the vast majority of the parkerized finish with some marks from handling and use. A few old spots of oxidation. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is excellent with strong rifling and some light frosting. EMW
