Police Positive Special manufactured by Colt in 1925. The left side of the barrel is stamped "POLICE / POSITIVE" followed by "SPECIAL 32-20 W.C.F.", with Colt's 2-line address across the top. Left side of frame bears the Rampant Colt logo and "VP" proof. Features include a nickel finish, 5" barrel, halfmoon front sight, frame notched rear sight, and 2-piece Colt fleur-de-lis hard rubber grips. Matching numbers are found on the frame and cylinder crane. Grips are mismatched and are different colors. CONDITION: Metal components retain the vast majority of their original factory nickel finish, exhibiting a few small and scattered spots of oxidation. Nickel finish shows some superficial marks from handling and storage, with some areas of bubbling beneath the finish overall. Cylinder bears a light dragline. Grips show varying degrees of smoothing, showing some handling marks. Left grip panel bears a loss around the grip screw. MLW
