Lot consist of: (A) Colt Police Positive double action revolver. Made 1928. Standard 2-line address and patent dates on the top of the barrel. "POLICE/POSITIVE" .38 SPECIAL" marked on the left side of the barrel. Rampant Colt pony on the left side of the frame. "VP" proof on the top left of the trigger guard. Matching numbers on the frame and crane. There is a "11134" stamped on the butt, possibly a police department serial number. Round steel barrel with half-moon front sight and U-notch rear. Factory blued finish. Original checkered wood grips with silver Colt medallions. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with general finish wear. Grips have light wear to the checkering and a few handling marks. Bore is clean overall with fine rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Good timing and lockup. Mechanically fine. (B) Colt Pocket Positive double action revolver. Made 1939. Standard 2-line address and patent dates on the right side of the barrel. Left side of the barrel is marked "COLT POCKET/.32 CAL.". Rampant Colt pony and "VP" proof on the left side of the frame. Matching serial numbers on the frame and crane. Round steel barrel with half-moon front sight and U-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Checkered face trigger and bobbed hammer. Factory checkered plastic grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with light wear. Grips are excellent. Bore is clean overall with crisp rifling. Good timing and lock up. Mechanically fine. JWA
