1904 vintage Colt Single Action Army, serial number 252278. 4 - 3/4" round barrel chambered in .38 WCF with 2-line barrel address, blade front sight, and V-frame notch rear. Nearly full coverage engraved by D.W. Harris of Jacksonville, Texas with scroll on a punchdot background with starbursts at front sight, ejector rod housing screw, loading gate, gas shield, and top of backstrap. Crosshatching on backstrap and geometrics on cylinder and topstrap. Butt is singed "D.W. Harris". 1-piece checkered walnut grips. CONDITION: Excellent plus with virtually all of the nickel plating remaining with minimal handling marks or flaking. Cylinder has a dragline. Engraving is sharp. Grips are in matching condition with checkering sharp and no major signs of distress. Action is tight and crisp. Bore is dark with visible rifling. TON
