Manufactured circa 1905 as per serial number. 3 - 3/4" shortened barrel with blade front sight, normal notch rear sight in top strap. .45 Colt caliber marking on left side of barrel. Engraved in approximate B class coverage with design consisting of scroll accented with punch dot backgrounds and crosshatch shading, with further decoration of stars and rays. Signed by N.C. Foster, dated 1993, on the underside of the barrel and partly visible with ejector rob blocking parts of signature. Two piece ivory grips with Colt medallions. CONDITION: Very good as custom embellished by Foster. Retains virtually all of the reapplied nickel finish with some minor marks from handling and storage, and a very small area of copper verdigris on the left side of the blade sight with some bubbling of nickel. Mechanically fine, rifling is very good with some minor spots of oxidation. Grips are ill fit and have gaps.
