Named for Chris Costa, well known in the firearms training community. Tri-top slide with thinner than normal blade front sight with red fiber optic insert, Jardine black ledge rear sight, front and rear cocking serrations, extended left side only safety. Lightened commander style hammer, long grip safety with memory bump, checkered front strap, checkered mainspring housing with integral magwell. Solid smooth trigger, extended magazine release, undercut trigger guard. VZ 10 grips with deeper than normal scallop cut for magazine release manipulation. Right side of slide with Costa's logo. Comes with Nighthawk green canvas case with 2 extra magazines and appropriate paperwork, including build sheet indicating David Atchley as the builder. Atchley is notable as one of the members of the American Pistolsmith's Guild. CONDITION: Excellent, showing little evidence of real use. Retains virtually all of the factory finishes with some very minor marks from handling and use. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is excellent with crisp rifling. Case is fine. EW
