Manufactured from approximately 1870 to 1912 in .41 RF. Blued 2 - 1/2" swing out barrel with ejector marked in italics "COLT" on top. German silver half moon front sight. Nickel plated bronze frame marked ".41 CAL". 2-piece walnut bird's head grips. Accompanied by a modern leather holster with tooled border decoration. CONDITION: Fine. Portions of thinning factory applied blued finish retained on barrel with balance thinning to dove gray patina. Vast majority of nickel plating is retained on frame, with bronze showing through at high edges and other wear areas. Grips have some finish loss and a few impressions. Fine bore and mechanics.
