Lot consist of: (A) Colt Black Powder Series 1851 Navy percussion single action revolver. Made 1971. Standard 1-line company address on the top of the barrel. "COLTS/PATENT" on the left side of the frame. Matching numbers on the frame, barrel assembly, trigger guard, and butt. Standard naval engagement scene on the cylinder. Octagon barrel with brass pin front sight. Blued finish on the barrel, cylinder, and trigger. Case colored loading lever, frame, and hammer. Polished silver-plated front and rear grip strap. Smooth light oil finished wood grip. Includes red velvet lined wood case with glass top. Inside of the case has lead balls, caps, bullet mold, and metal/brass powder flask. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% or more of its original finish with a few handling marks. Grip is excellent. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Good lock up. Nipples show little signs of use. Mechanically fine. Case and accessories are excellent with light wear. (B) Colt Black Powder Series 1851 Navy percussion single action revolver. Made 1970-80s. Nickel-plated front and rear grip strap. Smooth light oil finished wood grip. Includes a maroon velvet-lined wood case with caps, tools, and key inside. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% or more of its original finish with a few handling marks. Small splotch of surface rust on the loading lever retaining stud. Grip is excellent. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Good lock up. Nipples show little signs of use. Mechanically fine. Tools are fine. Case is very good with light wear. JWA
