Model PP manufactured by Walther in Germany. The left side of the slide exhibits the Walther Banner logo followed by stampings stipulating the manufacturer information, as well as the model and caliber designation. Right side of frame bears a barely discernible Interarms import stamp. Eagle/N commercial nitro proofs are present on the left side of the slide and right side of the frame. The left side of the frame bears a partially crossed out "LP By", indicating police issue. Blue finish has been removed, with metal components being in-the-white and polished. Frame is mounted with 2-piece faux ivory grips. Pistol is accompanied by a blue leatherette factory case containing 1 blued magazine. CONDITION: Very good, with metal components retaining virtually all of their stainless steel finish, exhibiting some areas of pitting beneath the polish overall. Bore is bright, exhibiting some small areas of oxidation and retains good rifling throughout. Grips show some scattered handling marks overall. Case shows some light exterior wear overall, but is otherwise sturdy and serviceable. MLW
