Lot consists of: (A) Remington model 1917 bayonet with green painted leather and metal scabbard. The bayonet is marked "1917 Remington" on the left ricasso and "US" on the left ricasso with flaming bomb and eagle head proofs. The blade appears to have been arsenal refinished. The wood gripped handle exhibits slight scratches. Scabbard exhibits paint imperfections. (B) M1 bayonet marked "U.C. / U.S." on the ricasso with US marked scabbard. The blade retains most of its original finish. (C) M1 bayonet marked "U.F.H. / U.S." on the ricasso with US marked scabbard. The blade retains most of its finish with scattered blemishes. (D) M8 Bayonet marked "JAPAN" under the guard with scabbard marked "U.S. M8A1 / VIZ". The bayonet exhibits heavy wear. (E) K-M4 bayonet marked "K-M4" on guard with scabbard marked "US M8A1 / PWH". The blade retains most of its original finish. (F) M5 bayonet marked "U.S. M5A1" and illegible maker marking on the guard with scabbard marked "US M8A1 / PWH". The blade retains most of its original finish. (G) Cut down M1 bayonet that was made into a fighting knife with leather scabbard. The scabbard features designs that were carved into the leather and the name "Larry Fogel". The bayonet is heavily worn. CONDITION: All bayonets exhibit blemishes typical of service wear. Some exhibit evidence of sharpening and cleaning. Overall poor to very good. JLD
