A real nice mahogany 8" gong with arched window, showing internal mechanisms. Cast brass plate affixed to door reads "The Gamewell Fire Alarm Telegraph Co. New York". Crest has fancy engraving. Side pillars have round carving. Slight separation on left-hand door where arch transitions into vertical piece.
