An early Jacobs Brothers 60 lb. package scale. Two-sided yellowed paper dial is nicely marked "Railway Express" in red ink. 4 oz. graduations on detailed scale face. Scale is mounted on a cast iron base with a tin platform and cast iron components. Faded and worn black paint.
