A rare number plate from Huntingdon and Broad Top Mountain No. 32, a 2-8-0 Consolidation. The H&BT was a well-known coal-hauling shortline operating in south-central Pennsylvania. The engine was originally built by Burnham, Williams & Co in 1902. Back of plate shows old black paint, mounting boss intact with hanging strap and bolt. Face of plate shows gloss red and black field with polished but tarnished characters and numerals.
